I opening admit that I have an inexplicable fascination with the moon and especially the Full Moon. My wide awake morning hours are spent with a good cup of piping hot coffee, listening to the quiet on my patio, mentally organizing my upcoming day and looking up. Looking up at the moon…the big beautiful full moon of April. Three hours pass and the moon rotates, drops in the sky and the glow goes from bright white to a rich gold. Three hours pass and I have enjoyed more cups of coffee than I care to admit to and my to do list has been organized and prioritized. Three hours pass and I have probably clocked one mile walking round and round my backyard keeping my little dog company as he inspects and marks every single solitary blade of grass. Three hours pass and I am bidding the Full Moon adieu as it sets behind the roofline of my neighbor’s house…soon the Full Moon will be replaced by a glorious sunrise and the beginning of another busy busy day. Three hours pass and my to do list has a final entry: Be thankful for another day.
A very special thanks go out to my friend Danielle who inspired me…thanks!
